My present exhaust is pretty bad. i want to replace it but I can't make up my mind. Here are the two options I am considering:
BTB (£325) - Mild steel system designed for racing. Most likely loud, but I'm told it is designed to conform to race circuit noise levels. Once ordered it would take 4 weeks to get to me. I would then ask Henryk Franczak to fit it for me (as it will need modification to fir the manifold) - this will cost a bit more. Also, the tailpipe is a bare mild steel pipe.
Powerflow (£280) - Stainless Steel system designed to get the gasses to the back of the car. Sound can be how I want it. The cost includes fitting and lifetime warranty. Available pretty much instantly - drive in and out affair.
The problem I have here is that the BTB one does a job well, but the Powerflow will last better and would be an easier option.
Any points / suggestions?
