Just bought a MK4 Turbo, can anyone tell me where the oil cooler is located as i want to connect an oil temperature gauge?
I've been told that the best place to fit the temperature sensor is either using a sump plug adapter, or t-piecing into one of the oil lines. Has anyone done this, or anyone have advice that would be useful?
I did mine by removing a bolt that is attached to the bit that the oil filter attaches too if you catch my drift. drill a hole, tap'd and dye'd it to the right thread size then screwed in my sensor. just needed wiring up then.
the Z20LETS have a heat exchnager, not an oil cooler, the best place for a reading is to use one of the sandwhich plate bolts as this is where the oil flows in/out to the exchanger.
Behind The Z20let Block Imagine On C20let Or C20xe They Have Them ****ty Plastic Tubes For The Water Pipes Well On The Z20let Got Like The Same On Back But Looks Like They Got Bolts Put Into It From The Turbo Oil Feed??
Whats It Does Anyone Know Or Am I Smoking To Much Weed To See The Difference Lol
