will go in no worries, std driveshafts wil fit f16 box ok. u need 2 retain cavvy ecu,loom,coil and airflow meter and remember cavvy ecu is not waterproof so it needs to go in car. me and my mates managed it in an astra van in a couple of hours using astra sri stuts and driveshafts. good luck!
in reply to your email mike, its probably not worth it unless your astra sri engine is in significatly worse condition than the donor motor. if its the cav sri engine you are putting in, you will only gain about 15bhp anyway.
use the head (inc cam) though cos its better and delivers a tad more power higher up the revs without destroying all your low end torque
