    Porous head fixed

    Fixed my porous head for £5 and no drilling involved.

    5/16" Aluminium Tube and some red lock-thread.

    Took a couple of days working out all the sizes, but only took 20mins to complete.

    I can quite believe this - If I'd had a 'porous' head I needed to use, I would have tried a similar method, after seeing one cut in half, it's not difficult to work out.

    Shining a small touch through the head bolt, i could clearly see the oil way.

    Also went to the trouble of buying a drill stand and 165mm 5/16" drill bit, which wasnt needed.

    I'll be happy if everyone stops binning there GM heads and paying £250 for a Coscast heads.

    its not a very hard thing to do
    i drilled mine
    turned a tube
    permament loctite
    filed the headbolt holes
    drilled the cam lines
    plugged both sides and hey presto!
