hello all,
kinda in a hurry atm, but need to post this asap to get replies asap :)

i've a calibra C20XE engine '91 (left hand drive) and i have removed the top hat and replace it with an adaptor plate and a ecotec pipe. The problem is that this pipe extended the air flow meter by a few cm's away from its original position and the original pipe that connects stock air box and air flow meter is now too long :(
Is there a shorter replacement pipe from Vauxhall that can go there? (AFM is 70mm OD and airbox is 75mm). What do you guys replace it with on these conversions?
I've thought about cutting a pipe but the ID is much more ~65mm so it won't fit in any of the airbox or AFM.

The other alternative is to buy a JR cone filter and use that, it will fit perfectly, but i don't want to go that route as it will draw hot air from engine bay...

any ideas? i am located in Greece so finding a 70mm-75mm hard rubber pipe is kina difficult where i live :(

Cheers all
