notice that lately when i leave the car to idle and warm up, the fan always kicked in at 100c or tinyest bit over it, now it goes to next bar just before the red and kicks in, ive done a block test on it coz i thought it was the headgasket, no signs of failure, last month i put a new water pump on it and thats it but was fine. cud the fan switch b bit fooked ? cheers 4 any help
if you feeling a little electrical minded you can tap into the fan switch wires and create a flick switch for inside the car, so when you think it's getting too hot you can turn it on.
failing that from deemon tweeks you can buy an adjustable fan switch, makes the fan come on at a temperature you feel is accceptable.
ok cheers guys, i dont like the idea of it running hot, so il try a low temp fan switch on it, wud rather it ran alittle cooler on idle when leavin it coz i really cant be arsed to do headgasket on it if it decided to overheat
