bugger it - and this is still on standard cams, too!
what's happening is a repeat of when I went to SBD a couple years ago for a road session - we had to raise the fuel pressure to over 60psi to stop the ECU from shutting down the injectors at WOT over 7000rpm - I hoped it was due to the bad setup of the airbox and general untested nature of where I'd put the air temp sensor - not so it seems.
this time it's even more apparent - the bottom line is I can't use over 7k rpm, - up to that point though it's mapped in quite well, and feels a lot faster since last nite after I merged the fuel & adaptive maps - I checked the amap again tonite and it's not showing any bit + or - values now, so the merge has worked.
looks like I need uprated injectors, without a doubt.
for the record, peak inj time is 9.4ms - any one know what duty cycle that is ?
