Maybe I'm missing something here but for road use I fail to see any advantage using the SBD TB208 kit over the MT196. Infact I have overlayed the power graphs and the MT196 seems to be a little more suitable in a big car on the road.
I thick everyone on here with SBD Throttle Body kits are running the 196 kit right?
There is a £300 difference, take away £60 for the rod bolts. I can see why the TB208 kit would be a lot better on the track in a light car but in a Cav I'm not so sure.
What do you think?
Also how do people find throttle bodies? How do they idle in traffic and what are they like for fuel consumption when you arn't thrashing around? I know they have cold start probs but my mate is weighing them up against a Cav turbo engine.
But the noise, oooh the noise....
