Well i just borght a Calibra V6 and the cylinder heads are fooked.

So one idea i had was to fit a recon engine. The place i foned up dont recondition the C25XE units so i got a quote on the X25XE instead.

Is it any harder to fit a X25XE over a C25XE? And can i use standard manifolds/ecu?

And is it also possible to fit the X30XE or Y32SE?

Thanks

I was going to use all the existing ancilliaries and fit a X25XE or X30XE engine, but just wanted to know if this is possible.
Also i know i have to use existing sump and manifolds, can i use teh existing ECU and loom and gearbox?

Thanks for for your help.

Doesn't the X25XE have different heads? Still fitting the same block but different spacing on the ports?

Nope.

the X30XE has bigger ports, but the C25XE inlet still bolts up OK.

Could open the ports the lower inlet if you are that keen.
