Mate, the engine you are wanting to build, if you can do it, will not be a street engine but near enough to a drag racing engine. You won't be able to drive around town in it with that cam duration, it will need rebuildind every couple of weeks and will cost a fortune. I do believe with enough boost and nos it can be done but think about the traction problems. Vega is right, you'll blow yourself to pieces but hey, have fun trying
stop slaggin him off. if they guy does the research right and gets the good parts then its possible.
imagine the fun building and running that bad bastard engine. deciding what racing fuel/nitro to get

Well said....sounds about right
You clearly know nothing about the british tuning scene, its no mistake that most of the worlds GP F1 cars are designed and built in Britain as are many of the US oval racers. British engine manufacturers have produced the most successful race engines in the world and still sell consultancy services to the worlds engine manfuacturers. Over here drag racing isnt as popular as in the 'states and is considered the premature ejaculation of motorsport. We prefer real racing where the driver actually has to show some skill for more than 3 seconds at a time and the engine is just one aspect of the overall performance of the car.
Dwell on this while dismissing our attitude to our cars, who designed the engine you are playing with?
Sure there are some who prefer styling to engine mods, many of these are young, new to cars and are at least keen, they will learn, at least dont have an EGO the size of a small country nor a propensity to make daft generalisations regarding a nation they know nothing about. I'm sure there are as many who prefer to 'style' their cars in any country including yours since it comes down to human nature and not nationality.
There are many skilled engineers and experienced experts who contribute to this BBS, if you pin back your ears and rest your fingers a bit, perhaps you may benefit from their experiences.

(It's the voices that make me do it)
You took the words right out of my mouth. HE HE HElmao lmao lmao lmao
Now if only I could get past the 2nd line of his opening question, er what was it again?
Just like a woman, they ask you a question, then they give you the answer
Well i dont see any thing wrong with the way he`s putting things across,he`s only tellin it the way he see`s it from over in Brazil..he`s certainly not dissing anyone. Its good to see what they`re up to over there.I`m not surprised that they can build these engines...what with the price of tuning bits over there
Well, that put me in my place. You may have a point. When our very own mechanics are hell bent on ripping us all off. Its a wonder any of us can afford a car let alone keep it on the road
Im with mateaus!!!
They laughed at man walking on the moon!!!
Its all about money! if u have it u can do anything!! the tuning of turbos over here is limited cos we all do generally the same thing! Take PEPE for example, estimated 300bhp, u all mocked these claims without any grounds for this!!
Grom who owns pepe knows a lot of people in F1 and other motorsports teams, he has had extensive work carried out to the innards, throttle barrels, an exhaust that would look at hom on a MClaren. on an F16, you said the F16 couldnt cope, this is all washer womens gossip, the F16 is a QUaife straight cut box,
I say good on him, not to look at the normal power and say i cant get that! if pepe can get 300 bhp N/A, why cant u then add a turbo and nitros to that?? if the rest of the engine will cope!!
Im interested to see the outcome, and would like to get some prices for mods for the engine from over there!!!
2.0l 16v nova nearly completed.

I agree, its nice to hear how other peeps do things in other countries. I often take a pinch of salt with what everyone says whether there from Blackpool or Brazil it makes no diff. Ill stick my neck out and say that most people on this site are real enthusists and spend most time and money on the Engine and leave the styling mods to the maxpower heads. Im sure there would be a lot more engine tweaking going on if we all werent ****ed over by the Law, Insurance Prices, Part Prices etc.
Let us know how u get on with your project and show us some pictures of how things are, Latino Style !

FFS, all the guy asked initially was for some dimensions. If you think he's not writing things correctly, you try talking to him in his language, and see how far you get. Then try talking technically in it.
Opinions are all very well, but why slate the guy after he's asked a simple question.
What he has stated is not impossible, and therefore you should take it seriously. The trouble with you lot is you doubt everybody, until they 'prove' themselves, which usually means they've spent a shed load of money with a top tuning company.
Give the guy a chance. Someone must know the answer to his original question... Be grown up and post the answer if you do know, rather than being a cynic, and stop slagging him.
Matheus, you go for it mate. who cares what the thing looks like... it's how it goes!
you are one psychedelic guy, and i applaud you for it. i may find it difficult to read your writing, but i sure hear what you're saying.
it's correct that the tuning accesories in this country (uk) are outrageously expensive. and i am outrageously poor. but if i could afford it, i'd be right behind you. as it is right now, you'd lose me at the first corner!
good luck with your project, be interested to see how it goes.
Can grown men cry?
That was beautiful
