Unhappy Please help. ECU, Loom OR Air flow

I am getting extremely frustrated, i have an engine, its a late redtop, i have a loom, it of a GTE, and i have an air flow meter with a pot screw.

I have earthed pin 20 on the ECU cos i got no lambda sensor, and it makes the car run better, iit gets rid of the flat spot, but i cant adjust the mixture, CO readin is 7 +

Is the FP, ECU meant for a cat? what could i do to get it running right anyone???

The scrapper says he is going to get me a a air flow meter, ECU, and a manifold with sensor to remedy this, he dont know when tho!

    HEEEEEEEEELPP ME.

Is there owt i can do???

It's too mix and match. Either get a Lambda sensored manifold, and the correct Air Flow meter to match your ECU, or get the ECU to match no lambda, and pot adjustable air flow meter.

I hope you remember the original position of the air flow meter screw too, otherwise it'll be hassle when you do get it sorted.

    OOOOOh, your joking!!!

Tried turning the screw till it stopped, but it didnt!!! lmao

Will the ECU not run a lambda then???

Just thought even tho it was an early one they might have made them compatible for future installation of a cat!
