Over the weekend, myself Jay, Betty and Big Nick set on my cab's engine. After 102k, the car hard hardly been serviced, the water pipes we clogged with corrotion, and some gaskets had gone.
Replaced all the filters and spark plugs, cleaned the carb and the whole water system, flushed the oil and changed it, cam cover gasket replaced... took the car out for a drive, and it feels much more powerful... until the car just cut out dead. No spluttering, just died. Got running again, then did it again. After a few times, the car started kangerooing and then did nothing. Petrol we thought - went and go some in a cann, filled it up and drove it back. Granted there's only a gallon in the tank, but running on the drive the engine just stops. Doesn't die or change tone, just turns itself off.
Any ideas? air in the fuel pipes? carb trouble? fuel pump?
