pop the car up on axle stands
take off wheels
take out the clip thats in the castellated nut
get someone to stamp on the brakes and keep them on while you undo the nut (30mm deep socket £5 from halfords for 1/2" drive)
undo the castellated nut on the balljoint
get the balljoint splitter fork and whack hell out of it till the seal breaks
push hard down and remove the lower arm from the strut @ the balljoint
use crowbar to pop out the inner cv joint at the gearbox and remove from box
tap the driveshaft at the hub with a mallet to get it out completely
slide new ones in
sorry if i have missed anything, but it should be straight forward to see what to do next. i think the order is correct too, maybe split the balljoints 1st so the rest of the strut is tight, cant remember which way round i did it.
haynes might seem a bit more useful now you have to full picture so to speak.
