I have 2 different noises, one from the front/engine bay area and one from the back. Ive taken the car to numerous garages including 2 Vauxhall dealers, all of which cannot pin point the noises!?!?
1.) Noise from front:
Sounds like a crack/snap, like flexing metal when under load. It happens when ever i set off from junctions anything slightly faster than normal or when ever i hold the revs and accellerate hard. It happens whether in a straight line or cornering.
2.) Noise from rear:
This is more of a loud rattling from underneath somewhere. I was confident a garage could find this, but no luck as yet On a smooth road under acelleration its fine, but as soon as i let off the throttle, the noise starts over every slight bump in the road. I think its from the rear as its worse when the back wheels hit the bumps.
All ball joints, track rod ends, and bearings have been checked and are all apparently ok.
One garage told me that the crack is my transfer box and the rattle is my rear diff!!!!! lmao lmao Surely not????
Suggestions greatly appreciated.
