Im in the process of removing the head on my cally turbo, in the future i`m planning on a phase3 conversion, a garrett or a KKK hybrid etc etc, is it worth me replacing the stiock gasket with a kevlar/steel one?
I`ve seen some gaskets in demon tweeks going for £65 but thats for an XE, would it be the same one for a turbo? and also what thickness do i need? How much would a GM head gasket cost? also do they do a complete head gasket set inc all the inlet/exhaust, valve guides, cam cover cam seals etc etc? or are they seperate?
Before i start taking it off do i need to get rid of the pressure in the fuel injection system? or is if safe to disconnect the pip from the FPR?
i appreciate any help with this, never done a 16v head before...
