hi, putting a 2.0 16v into my nova, it's got an F20 gearbox. I know ive got to flip the plastic joint around 180 degrees but on which linkage? do i use the linkage & mounting arm that came with the astra, or do i remove the whole mounting arm off the nova gear box with the linkage & use that? only reason im wondering is that ive noticed that the astra mounting arm has three bolts to hold it to the gear box where as the nova arm has 2. The spacer bracket ive got only need's 2 bolts.
You use the nova mounting mate but i cant remember if you swap the Astra linkage onto the Nova mount, I did mine ages ago and its still not in the bloody Nova!!! Somebody else is bound to know!!!
Nope you use the Nova mount as well as the the Nova gear linkage and two bolts should be fine just as long as they are longer than the ones that came out!.
