Anyone had an experiences with these?
I like the idea they try and promote about the differences between them and other race tuned products ie where you really need the torque.
Got a rebuild coming up after Combe in April due to knackered piston rings and valve stem seals.
Was thinking Courtenay head and hi-torque cam, gasket matching the inlet and possibly boring a bit bigger. Is it worth boring bigger to 2.1 like say Mike Warners? Was it a lot of work + money and how easy is it to get parts?
Me and the old man will be doing all the work ourselves with the exception of buying the head and any serious machining on the bottom end.
What are peoples ideas?
Also, been wondering for some time - when you change an injection engine eg new cam, do you need to alter the ECU to accept the changes? How does it know what the cam etc want to do?
