There's been a lot of coverage recently about this new Davis Craig electric water pump and the supposed benefits it can deliver, but does anyone know of anybody who's actually fitted it and got good results?
On the face of it, it makes sense to provide cooling when it's needed rather than just as a function of rpm. Also for very high revving engines, surely there must be a few horses to be gained at the top end by removing the mechanical impeller?? I'll have mine mapped up to 9000rpm soon, which is why I've been pondering over it. On the other hand, when I asked the importers (at Autosport) whether they had any independent back to back rolling road test results for it, he looked kind of embarrassed!
