At least once a day the accelerator on my car sticks. Usually a few mins after starting it up the accelerator gets wedged at about 3k revs and wont budge for a few seconds. Pumping the pedal dont help, then it returns to normal and usually that's that.
Is it most like to be the cable under the bonnet or that leading up from the footwell? It's quite annoying as people might think I am after the old 'look at me my car makes a noise' vote.
Will some WD40 liberally sprayed sort it out?
I don't think it's that poxy carpet above the pedals but can I remove it anyways cos it's a bit psychological now!
