Hi Everyone

Do you have any experiences on putting a 18E inlet manifold on a 20E head?

I started modifing my C20NE (yes, I like 8v  ) and want to upgrade the inlets, too.
Here in Hungary we have (beside the left-hand driving lmao ) the German stuffs like Lexmaul and Irmscher (maifolds too), but they are very rare and also expensive, too expensive.

Now I'm trying to put a 18E inlet on the 20E head, because:
- it has more open and direct pipes
- twin-cam TB
- bigger ports to the head

Unfortunately it requires an adapter plate, because the fixing screews and holes don't match, but I think I can solve it.

Q: Can this 18E TB configured to work with the 'basic' 20E system (I do not wanna cjange ECU now)?
Q: Possible problems? Like idle-regulator, etc?

The engine will have SEH pistons, 1mm skimmed 20E head, a 20SEH or a 18E cam and so on...

Which is better, 20SEH or 16v pistons? I would have a CR like 10.5-11:1

Thanks for your times and advices, guys!
