any idea what else u can do to a 2.2 16v dti sri vectra, its chipped, air filter and from cat back exhaust system, what else can i do for performance? cheers
its all about cooling more air, so u could go out and by a custom made jobbie for £400 or modding one from a monttery. i think thats how you spell it, its te huge 4x4 vauxhall made. i have used a piggy back unit instead of a chip because it was the best one on the maket at the time. speak to gav @ wallace performance he knows how well these engines respond to different management mods.
after the intercooler the only thing you can really do is change the injectors and uprate the fuel pump. when you have done this you need tore map it on a rolling road. my piggy back system can be re mapped but i dont know about your chip.
to be honest it was noticeable for a day then u get use to it. a frend has the same piggy back unit i have but i do tend to get away from him. but it is really down to the pigy backunit mate, because it can be remapped.
the only thing that can be done after this is the fuelling. larger fuel pumps and injectors/ injector rail. but this gonna cost loads of money!! im just gonna fit a let in my nova.
