Bought new HT leads ripped out the old ones, but cant remember their order on the distribution cap (think that's its name, its the orange thing) Can they go in any old order, or do they need to be in a certain way. I thought that as they sort out the order in which each spark fires, they have to go specific positions?
My car's a 1.4 1994 L Astra and I'm sure the engine's a C14NZ, I think the C14SE is the multipoint injection version, and mine's deffo single point
They have to go in a certain way so that the right spark sparks in the right cylinder.
I think that it is 1342, on the dizzy, anti-clockwise from the top. I ain't 100% though.
Then the no.1 cylinder is the end closest to the cambelt, air box,fan belt etc. That end is 1st cylinder.
