Sorry to bring this up again but there is just about nothing in the Mig archive that relates to my questions that i can find.
I'am building another nova but this time going back to the XE rather than LET, I'm using a F13 gearbox with a modified xe flywheel which will take a Nova GTE clutch assembly which will give enough clearance for it all to work.
There aren't many problems about doing this except the machining is a bit expensive as its something I cannot do myself, I posted a thread up a while back about doing this and someone said that the TD Flywheel has the same bolt pattern as a XE, is this true?
The nova TD uses a F15 box which in theory is the same as a F13 so if the flywheel fitted the xe then this would solve my porblem easily.
If the 1.7 td engine is what was meant then I presume that engine uses a f16 or something similar which would mean I may as well just use the modded xe flywheel.
Does anyone have a td flywheel they could put over a xe one to see if the bolt holes for the crank line up?
This could work out to be quite a interesting modification depending on how long the f13 or f15 would last with 150+bhp but I cannot see a reason not to try as its good fun experimenting with things.
