many many thanks
Hey i need the same info ! Doing mine in the morning but have been running an xe for the past year so i hope its mostly the same (everything but boost/turbo stuff)
brown/blue is ECU light from what I can remember (its been a while)
brown/white is for the diagnostic plug
brown/yellow is also for the diagnostic plug
blue is usually temperature gauge
Don't use the rest as far as I know.
For the boost cut you need to plug the reverse light switch from the Nova loom into the LET loom (black plug) and then the other black plug around that area on the LET loom goes to the reverse light switch in the gearbox. The white plug is for 1st gear boost cut, I just joined the wires together and removed first gear boost cut completely.
Put the 1st gear no boost wires to a switch on the dash then you can have high and low boost settings so you don't have to drive everywhere at full chat.
Its what I done on ours and it was ideal till it got phase3 which was dangerous
does anyone have a wiring diagram or know the colours of the boost cut wires? the previous owner has kindly cut the connectors off the gearbox switches for some reason so im not sure whats what??
the small wire is actually blue/red. it is what would have been a speed signal from the car. do not use.
only wires to use are.
red 12vperm
black 12v ig
blue water temp
red/blue fuel pump through fuse!!
green rev count
