John, or any one else how knows. In a earlier post by me i asked about cylinder control. I was a little confused as to what was ment by this.

no, squish is about homogenisation during combustion.
It becomes less important at high boost pressures, by the way.

Then cylinder pressures will be higher than they were meant to be.
If you have a static compression ratio of 9:1, can you guess what the dynamic CR is at 1 bar boost pressure? Or 2 bar?

R u saying then that the Z20LET will give me a higher C/R(i no i will have to machine the head slightly and this will give a slight rise) or r u saying i shoulg be looking at droping the C/R anyway as when i start to increse boost pressure the drop in C/R will stop things from going bang.
