Right guys. The one thing I forgot to check when I bought the GTE the other week was the water, this is what I have found
There is no water in the oil, it is only mixing one way. The engine is still running quite healthy at the moment, produced 159.2bhp and 146.1lb ft of torque on the rollers on saturday.
I presume that it is either the head gasket is on its way out or the head has gone porous. How can I find out? If I do a compression test will this tell me whether it is the gasket
If the head is porous, will it be easier to source another head to put on?
