i took diff cover plate off to change the gasket, drained oil etc etc, both drveshafts out, blah blah.. but come to put it all back together it came to me that there isnt a cap on the top of the box to fill it back up again!

my question is where do i fill the box up with oil, and how do i know when there is enough oil in there?

the box isnt in the car at the moment btw so i can turn it on its side or whatever if it might help

thanks, andrew

take the breather out, its the thing with a plastic mushroom ontop of it on the top of the box, as for level, you need to remove the level plug that is next to one of the driveshaft flanges, then get the bx so its the same orientation as it would be in the car, and fill it till oil comes out of the level check hole
