I know there was a topic on this a while back. But was just wondering if i should go to a vaux dealer for ignition leads or get some magnercor jobbies. Also anyone recommend decent spark plugs. Trouble is ones i have in engine at mo, have only been there since November.

i had vauxhall ones. plugged em in and left them alone. worked fine. then halfords, plugged them in and left them, but after taking one off the plug it left the contact on the plug tip. oops.
then i got magnecor. kickass bright red, plugged em in and left them. sorted.
depends whats cheaper i guess, the proper vauxhall ones or magnecor, they are both good. i paid 65 quid for my magnecor by the way.

i use cool running NGK plugs. stage 1 cooler bpr7es. not a problem with them, very good plugs.

Been just outside to fit new battery as other one died this morning, nice halfords calcium jobbie. n e way, just checked ones i have in there are bosch super's. n e good? Have splitfire leads, been in there a year, so i guess time for change. exhaust is next.. after my fuel prob is sorted.... then.... the list is endless!! Goes with modifying!!:)

well i could be convinced concerning the splitfire. Cause twin core doesnt mean twice the spark, electricity, in its nature, just wants to find the shortest and easiest route to ground, so it will only go down one wire. same applies for mutli terminal plugs (like super 4's :D )

OE leads for my car are like 170 quid from vauxhall
