overfuelling came back yesterday evening, same as it was last weekend. Bugger
thought I might try an AFM since I know where I can borrow one from, but its from a C20XE and isnt adjustable like mineis, my engine being a 20XE. I assume it will still fit my car and not bugger around with my engine managment or will I have to stick with a 20XE one?
going to change the ignition coil for a Calibra 16v one at the weekend and see if that helps too.
list of things Ive now done;
Brand new CTS
New plugs + leads (not king lead, dont have a spare)
gapped spark plugs (to 0.8mm)
cleaned ICV (for what it was worth)
Running the RON plug either way round makes no difference
Ive taken apart the intake system looking for air splits, found none and put it back together tightly
new rotor arm (dizzy cap was fine)
checked all fuel lines and found no leak
I'll try this AFM and ignition coil but I really dont know what else it could be. my ECU is throwing up no fault codes. Im at a loss. f**king car.
Im currently using Champion RC9MMC plugs (I think thats them, its in haynes) and standard Beru leads. I might replace all these if it doesnt clear up with the lastest batch of checks. What would be best to use?
