ok im gony go see my friendly bank manger and get into a wee bit of debt cause im nearly out the red here, and that just no acceptable so im gony be gathering parts pretty soon for a new project so i need some info.
ok ive done a quick search on this and a post by a certain DVandrews says that the XE/LET heads have 3 angle valve seats as standard. is this right?
if not where can i get it done and at what cost? will i need new valves to accomodate?
also looking to get my head worked(suit you sir) pretty soon so im looking for info and comments on whats the best work to get done to a LET head. will different types of work yeald gains in different areas of the rev range? i aint got much of a clue to what would do what so need some guidance for it.
whats the rough costs for this? is it Gary on here that does them? any gen on his work? heard its meant to be pretty good...
next, what are the oversize pistons sizes available for the LET so i know how much to get my block bored out to.
also, where can i get decent steel rods and low comp pistons and rings for a decent price aswell? any gen on prices would be cool.
what other smaller bits and bobs can i be buying in the meantime, head studs, head gasket? which one? heard good things about cometic gaskets...
