Hi guys. Thanks in advance for any help. Couple of days ago I unplugged the two hoses going into the top left hand corner of the engine block (see spec below) - a fat rubber hose and a thinner rubber hose to the left of it. Right above these two is a plug, which is held in place with a funny wire pin. I unplugged the hoses and plug so I could mess with the screw on the throttle so the car would idle slightly higher to stop the damn thing stalling at random times when I stop. Now I've got the error code 92 "camshaft sensor - incorrect signal" light coming on when I start. As I read in other posts too, it goes off if you flick the key off and on quickly, so the engine almost stops, but not quite. That clears it.
I lost the pin off the plug 'cause it fell into the engine somewhere but the plug seems to be secure.
What might be wrong? Any ideas?
PS: I'm sick to death of this freakin' car, this engine has never worked properly!
