Previous to this morning, the car was behaving/driving fine, and gave me no warning that sometihng was not right.
Fault: When driving as normal, the car misfires slightly, and stalls.
The dash lights all come on and after waiting 5-10 minutes, the car will start again only to die soon after (times & load vary).
Had a look around the bay and nothing seems to be obviously unplugged etc, which leads me to think it may be something fuel related.
After looking through my trusty haynes manaul, it has given me the impression, it may be one of the following.
-Vacum leak at throttle body, or associated hoses (inital check seems all is fine, apart from quite alot of oil at the neck of the air inlet.
-Fuel filter choked (replaced this only 2k miles ago)
-Fuel pump faulty (possibly, although is there anything i can do to test this?)
-Fuel tank vent blocked, or pipes restricted (wheres the tank vent?)
-Blocked injector/fuel injection system fault.
Anyone able to offer any other possible causes, before I start the checks?
