I've not had an F28 in my car that long (since Feb), and already its pritty much had it. I know the box was fully reconditioned before it was put in, so I can't blame things on it been partly worn beforehand!
Now I have a decision to make? Do I fix it and go back to as I was before, which I'd imagine I'll be going full circle again within a year. If I do just get the box fixed, I'll be putting a 60% plated Diff in it too.
Or I could take the option of investing in a stronger box? Does anybody know if a straight cut box would be a lot more hard wearing? How much would I be looking at? Whos best to get one off? I'll hang back on the plated diff until next year if I follow that option?
Any other options?
