As above, is there any difference between them, for the different size engines and cars etc? Or can one from one car be used in another car with a bigger engine?
i was indifferent about these things before i did some digging around. i used to think if its fitted, it must be needed so replace it. but i recently found out it does nothing more than reduce fuel rail and injector noise.
Well my fuel pressure dropped a smidgen on the guage but nothing massive. I was cautious about it too but the car has been fine for 2 months and the pressure has stayed constant
Cheers guys. I did search but couldn't really find anything conclusive wether it would be ok to use a different one.
So it would be fine on my turbo? With Evo2, FPR, FMIC, etc? It's running 250bhp. It won't mess up the fueling if I take it out will it? Cos I don't wanna under-fuel!!
Well it was leaking with the other one I put on, the jubilee clips weren't the best, so I took it off. Instead of the 4 in line, it's just 2 clips now.
So I took it for a spin, my my my she fly's!!! I had a flat spot around 4500/5000 and it was really annoying! Carly now just flys past that smooth as anything! It's just amazing the difference! The old one looked like it hadn't been changed ever!
If I cut it open will I see loads of carp inside?
