this is my first cry for help so please be gentle
I have a '95 Cav V6 CDX which has standard Aircon. I noticed that both the tensioner and an idler on the alternator belt were becoming noisy so I thought I would change them. Cambelt and rollers were done just before I bought the car a few months ago.
However when I went to order the parts, the tensioner was no problem but no-one had ever seen my other idler before on a V6 and it didn't show on the TIS. The dealer is now contacting Vaux technical.
It sits very close to the engine mount and from memory between water pump and crank pulley on the belt's run. On removal it has no Vaux part no's, is made of black plastic and is smooth not ribbed.
I was hoping maybe one of the V6 guys may be able to shed some light
