ok ive just had my c16xe rebuilt with new rings, new big end shells and new valve guides
its done about 300miles and yestarday my mate was following me and said he could smell a lot of fuel coming from my car, mainly when i was starting to accellerate
with it burning so much oil before the rebuild i assumed the lambda might be shot but today i hooked a multimeter upto it and its acting exactly like it should - oscilating between 0.2 and 0.8 under constant load/idle
even under moderate accelleration it sits at 0.8v for a second or so then starts oscillating again like normal
i was doing some more investigating today and noticed if i let the car idle at open the throttle mediumly quickly it splutters a bit while it revs up and theres a stream of black smoke, if i snap the throttle open REAL quick at idle it just stays at idle speed but caughs and splutters and chucks out loads of black smoke,
if i hold the revs at say 3k after the black smoke everything goes back to normal, fuel reek vanishes, lambda starts oscilating normally and engine stops spluttering
so any ideas?
