since i had my KnN and my piperx viper i noticed a drop in the amount of miles i got to a tank,i used to get 200miles to £20 now i only get average of 170!!........"MAINLY" due to the fact that i put my foot down a lot more just for the nice induction sound lmao
You will prob find you get through a tiny bit more fuel, but you will hardly notice it, if you have a good quality filter like a pipercross viper then you have a direct cold feed, and everyone knows the cooler the air the better!
The ECU will see you have slightly more air going through the AFM so will add slightly more fuel, but nothing dramatic at all....
High Performance Induction Kits increase hoursepower but do they eat though fuel or do they improve MPG?
None of the above statements is always correct.
In fact, in most cases horsepower is decreased and mpg only appears improved because less air is being used (and consequently less fuel is being injected).
