I talked awhile ago about knowing oil pressure in your car if u think u might need a new oil pump and well i was told to get an oil pressure gauge and fit it in the car via to the sump or something like that..anyways are these any good?
Oil / Vacuum Gauge Type R, VTEC, VTI, MIVEC
Oil Pressure & Vacuum Gauge Kit
This is a full OMONI gauge kit for Oil pressure and vacuum. They are in impeccable condition with not one scratch leak or damaged thread evident.
I removed them from my Jap Type R (B18C) for a UK car import approval test, I have been lead to believe the oil gauge will fit most jap cars and many others besides.
The kit consists of a colour scaled vacuum gauge (cmHg),
6' vacuum pipe, vacuum connection Y piece,
Oil pressure gauge (kg/cm), 10' Braided oil pipe,
T piece for oil pipe and OEM pressure censor, connection leads, anti glare shields, 2 sets of mountings (surface/in dash).
TIM OIL PRESSURE GAUGE IN MOUNTING POD
TIM OIL PRESSURE GAUGE IN MOUNTING POD HAS BACKLIGHTING COMES WITH ABOUT 1.5m COPPER TUBE
if and when i get them and put them in, what am i suppose to look for when needle sits where ever its suppose to on gauge? i aint got the foggiest as to what is good and bad concerning the gauges when working with oil pressure from engine.....
