Has anyone got a pic or diagram of the aux belt routing on the Vectra B V6 with A/C? When the belt came off, I'm sure the ribbed side of the belt was driving the water pump pulley, but now I've got it back on, I've got the smooth side of the belt driving the water pump pulley! Which is correct?
Also, where do you set the tension? I don't seem to have a tensioner on mine... all I can see are all the relevant ancillary pulleys + a plastic idler wheel above the alternator, under the engine stabiliser bar. I even took this off to make sure it wasn't actually a tensioner and, sure enough, it's just an idler. I'm stuck!
My crankshaft pulley also has a slight visible wobble to it with the engine idling and it seems to stick-out approx 5mm compared with the other pulleys. This is causing the serpentine belt to run approx. 3mm off the water pump pulley. Any ideas?
