Im still convinced mines overfueling so theres a few things im going to do when I get home to try and rectify this. Never really managed to get to the bottom of the problem on the Calibra so Im not wasting any time on sorting this.
SO far all I can really do is...
put a non drilled standard airbox on
change the Coolant Tempreture sensor
reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery
do I need to run the engine on idle for any length of time following the ECU reset?
Also is the AFM the only other thing that controls the fueling? mines the adjustable one as mines a non cat XE. What about the knock sensor? could that be faulty?
car smells petroly when Im flooring it over 3k rpm, It can be smelt quite clearly in the car.
Ive also played around with the A/B plug so many times I cant remember which is the standard map. Should A be facing the clip (i.e. out of sight) or B?
any ther suggestions as to what I can do appreciated.
