OK i'm not overly knowledgable on injectors but i'm trying to get my head about this a bit better.
Does an injector control any any way how much it flows?
i.e. does an injector know how much it flows or does it just pulse open for a duration and whatever amount gets out is determined by the fuel pressure?
- my guess it it does not know how much its flowing because it is only 2 pins and quite small so probably couldn't count the flow but wanna be sure
What happens if you increase the fuel pressure across the range i.e. fit a higher pressure FPR, will the ECU notice this and shorten the pulse duration to keep the mix correct?
but because the lambda sensor doesn't control full throttle operation the fueling will increase at full throttle?
what happens if you fit an injector which flows more in the same duration? i.e. a biggen injector does the ECU care about any of this or does it just look at the fuel/air ratio and shorten the pulse until it is correct?
just been bulding up my pulse 450 manifold and i've got lots of sets of injectors sitting around me and just wanting to know a little more about them
