I want to do a 2.0L 16v conversion to replace my blown mk3 1.4mpi cesaro, and I have searched through many threads and have a few questions:
I am seriously considering using a mk2 gte 20xe engine – how much harder is it to wire up everything compared to c20xe from a mk3 gsi?
What are the major differences between a 20xe and c20xe (other than no cat or lambda is needed)?What is the 'preffered' engine and differences in performance?
Will I need to get new suspension for my car if I use either engine?
What about engine mounts with the 20xe?
Is it easy to hook up my original power steering to the 20xe?
Im sorry about all the questions, I have only ever changed the headgasket/piston rings and valve stem oil seals etc. so my knowledge is somewhat limited.
