hmmm residue in my exhaust chamber- let what could it be!

started to crack on with the nova today after pv, was getting bored and ive got this tiny light which goes any where, shined it in all of my exhaust side chambers as my car is minus its exhaust manifold!. all were dry apart from no3 which seemed to have damp oily coke residue at the front of the valves and around the hole chamber does this sound like a dodgy valve stem oil seal? took out the spark plugs and i dont think its a ring letting by as all plugs were the same as were the piston tops, worried now ill have to rip the engine apart, should i just run it and see? the engine has done 0 miles and has only ticked over for a total of 15mins only other thing i thought it may be was condensation but then all bores would have it, and the evenings have been warm lately
    thanks for any help

does sound like a leaky stem seal tbh, if you're confident the plugs are saying everythings burning ok.
