I've got a P-Reg Vectra 2.0 DI which is a non-runner.Just stopped one day on the road and had to be towed back.been sitting for a few months.Tried to get it started.Had some ideas from the forum.Thanx - they've helped, now getting some fault codes.
Yes,I've changed the fuel pump as fuel definitely not getting thru.Fuel now comes up but it still won't start.Tow-bumped it and it started with slight difficulty but once foot was off the accelerator or after a min it conked out again. Put it on a tech machine and got the following fault codes:
P1335 - injection pump
P0422 - EGR valve open circuit
P1694 - Glow light open circuit
P1662 - Fuel cut off solenoid open
P0115 - coolant sensor voltage high
P0105 - Map sensor voltage low
P1635 - Glow device general error
P1651 - ?cam-bus receiver error
A technician spoken to at vauxhall motors said the fuel pump had to be reprogrammed as it had been replaced.(although with a good second hand one, proof is that fuel is now coming up).No current seems to be getting thru to the plugs either.
Any ideas as taking it to those guys is like £80/hr and can't afford to haemorrhage cash which may likely happen in thier hands?Thanx all
