The cambelt snapped yesterday on my 16v cally C20XE and i'm in financial dia-bloody straights!!
So I want to do the repair my self if possible I fairly certain my waterpump siezed and caused the failure.
I'm o.k with most things practical as I repair trains both electricaly and mechanicaly for a living and I have access to the workshop manuals for stripping/rebuilding
what I need to know is what to do if the valves are bent and what needs to be done in sorting them out.
Do I need to do anything else to the bottom end after I've replaced the water pump?
I live on the borders of South-East London/Kent so if you can recomend somewhere for work that cant be done at home as I have only my usual tools nothing specialised.
can you also tell me what I need and roughly how much it'll cost me.
I know this is a big request but I'm really stuck at the moment so any help will be recieved gratefully.BLOODY CALLY WHY ARE YOU SUCH A PAIN IN THE A**SE!!!
