ok, so after asking the questions about tb's vs turbo, I have decided that tb's are the way forward.
now my car doesnt have traction control and I was thinking the 2.0 astras etc have as standard and so could I install the abs pump from one of these and wire it into the new engine management unit I get witht he throttle boddies.
I know the standard ecu ahs no output for traction control but this was a simple after thought.
another thing, if I choose to install myself / with a mechanic mate, how will I get the car set up? thinking of installing then getting set up on a rolling road, but to keep costs down want to fit kit myself. do they come with a basic "limp mode" to allow me to get to rr?
If you buy an ECU with a proper fuel/ignition cut based traction control function you won't need to mess around with ABS pumps at all. DTA seem to provide quite a lot of support for this sort of thing.
