getting ready to fire the car up today . petrol in ... oil in .... water in ...... water out ! . im 99% sure the water pump is where its comming from but the major problem is that some ***** **** has totaly rounded of the cap screws/ bolts that hold on the crank pulley on and if i cant get the crank pulley of i cant get the back plate of ect ect . u know the story
any ideas on how to remove them ?
weld some nuts on them ? combination of the heat and something decent to get hold of may work
bearing in mind the state of them i guess there going to b stupidly tight so im after belts and braces ideas
Yeah i had this problem before just drill them out all you need is to take the head off them. Theyre made of alloy anyway drill out easy then once the pulleys off just use a pair of vice grips and theyll come out no probs. Iain.
