This may sound dumb but in what circumstances would these be of use? I currently run Spax RSX front coilovers with 260lb springs on my CorsaB, they dont have helper springs. Yet I see some of the professional 'Trax Spax' coilovers and other brands do use them, why is this? I assume helper springs are usefull for absorbing the very small bumps in the road and reduce vibration, maybe this makes them ideal for a rally gravel setup or am I wrong?
Looking through the Rally Design and TAS catalogues I notice I can buy individual flat section helper springs of varying length and poundage (2.25") and also a treaded double adaptor for them to fit on my existing coilovers with my springs. If I were to add them to mine how do I know which poundage to go for?
Any gen would be much appreciated, thanks - Tom
