... with a smaller thread on it to fit into a tee-piece that I have so I can have my original warning light AND my oil pressure guage at the same time.
The thread on my original switch is FAR too wide to go into the end of my tee-piece and the end of the tee-piece is not wide enough for me to drill out and tap a wider thread into it.
Ideally I would like to stick to a vaux pressure switch with the weather/water proof plug on the back so I don`t have to cut the end off the wire but if it comes down to it I`d just have t make do with whatever I can get to fit into the tee-piece
Also, do all/most pressure switches operate at the same/similar pressure (I heard that they switch the warning light off at approx 6psi, is this about right) if so I`ll be ok if I can get one to fit
