I have got a C20LET and after 5500RPM is still goes up in the rev to 6800+ but from 5500 to 6800 it doesnt pull as hard as it does lower in the rev range.....i have just fitted a phase 3 kit couls it be something to do with that?

what condition is your turbo in? is it holding the boost up to the higher rpm's?
TBH the peak power on mine tends to be around 5400-5800 rpm then you find the basic kkk16 urbo just runs out of puff.

291 bhp - 324 lb/ft = Ear to Ear Grin Factor
Greddy e-manage fitted - now to get it mapped!
the boost stays very stable all through the RPM....could it be injectors/fuel pump?
i'm guessing for phase 3 you would have had your injectors cleaned or uprated? and a suitable uprated fuel pump fitted?
as for leaning out up in that rev range - this isnt good if you are still getting high levels of boost. without a air/fuel ratio meter its difficult to say, but have you checked the colour of you spark plugs?

still running standard fuel pump and i have cleaned the injectors......last time i checked the plugs they were a slight light brown colour.
do you notice any increase in your running temps when higher up the revs? this could indicate running lean. obviously not good!!! might be a good idea to get your fuel pressure checked, either by using a gauge and running the car or on a rolling road. It needs to be checked while under the conidtions where it isnt performing, not just at idle as it might be fine at idle but at those engine speeds at that sort of pressure it needs a lot more fuel and if your fuel pressure is tailing off maybe the knock sensor is saving your engine from melting!! in any case i wouldnt be booting it until you get it sorted mate.
how decent is your fuel filter and ignition components? ideally these should have been renewed when you fitted the P3

thick red - battery, thin black - igntion switched feed, thick red/blue - fuel pump, brown/blue - ecu light. thin green - rev counter.
Anything above 6000rpm and it will be dying bigtime, car has reached peak BHP and power drops off quickly after this
Sir, please step away from the car
